FLO Forum Welcomes Nine New Global Members; Forum Grows As Wireless Industry Embraces Technology

FREMONT, CA - November 2, 2005 - The FLO Forum, an association of wireless industry leaders, announced that nine new companies have joined the organization. The new Forum members include South Korea's EBS, KT Freetel, MSYS and Samsung Electronics, US-based Ktech Telecom and Newport Media, Germany's Rohde & Schwarz and France's Streamezzo and Teamcast. FLO Forum member companies are focused on the delivery of advanced multimedia services to wireless devices using FLO™ technology.

"Our newest members represent some of the industry's most innovative mobile broadcast leaders," said Dr. Kamil Grajski, president of the FLO Forum. "The growth of the FLO Forum is emblematic of the way that FLO™ technology is capturing the imagination of the wireless world. The new member companies join current FLO Forum members; Amoi, BBEF, Harris Corporation, Huawei, Korea Telecom, KYOCERA, LG Electronics, LG Telecom, MediaFLO USA, Inc., Pantech & Curitel, QUALCOMM, Roundbox, SANYO Electric Co., Sharp Corporation and ZTE.

Since the FLO Forum's formation in July 2005, the organization has created a technical committee structure to oversee the Forum's work on service and technical requirements, the FLO air interface specification, and corresponding performance and certification specifications for FLO-based products and services. The Forum's members have finalized committee charters and objectives and reviewed initial technical submissions from member companies.

The FLO Forum's next meeting is scheduled for November 9-10, 2005 in Hong Kong.
